Hello all. I am first time poster but have been riding my '92 Red/Wht CBR 600 for 8yrs. My first bike was a '89 Katana 600 and the CBR was a really nice upgrade.

I currently have an aftermarket windscreen on the bike (Lockhart Speedscreen EURO) but would like a little more wind protection. I am 6' tall and the air hits me right around the neck when sitting upright. Anybody have any experience with other windscreen models?

Also anyone put a corbin seat on an F2? That would be my only other complaint with the bike is the seat comfort... Getting a black seat on my bike would look better than the red stock one I currently have.

Other current bike mods are: stage 1, Two Bros full exhaust, 520 chain conversion with gearing change.

welcome to the forum! you could always look into getting a double bubble windscreen. those offer more wind protection. corbin seats are very comfy (although a bit pricey). i thought about getting one myself but i don't do enough long distance riding to justify it. i'd rather spend the $ on other mods

 

Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to check if a double bubble is avail. for my year.

I think they can make it for you but it's like a special order

I have a corbin on my F2 and I love it. It's the gunfighter saddle and it helps keep me in position plus it looks great on the F2 since the passenger portion of the seat resembles a cowl.

 

Do you have a pic of you bike with the corbin on it? Can a passenger sit on the back of the seat atleast for a short ride?
