Default new to cbr ownership

well ive been a member on here for awhile, but i just finally got my first cbr. a 94 cbr f2. its white with black and red accents if you know that color scheme. its not the sharpest looking back, couple cracks in the plastic and i think some tabs are busted, but it seems to run great. needs a new back tire which im discovering is rather pricey. i didnt want anything too fancy though as im sure ill drop it sometime.ill get pics up when i can. i am without computer now though. i sold my 89 honda vtr 250 to my brother he will start riding soon. as soon as i took of on the 94 i was in love with it. havent got to ride it too much. my plans are to get a fender eliminator and frame sliders. someone must have had sliders on at some point cause there is a hole smashed in where they would go, not drilled, smashed in. its got a tank bra, havent decided if i will leave it on or not, looks ok now. also came with a yoshimura exhaust that sounds pretty good so itll stay. anyways im pretty excited about it! i finally got my cbr!

Same here, I just bought my F2 about 4 days ago and have already done ALOT of replacement work on it (IE: chain, brakes, plugs, sprockets and tires.)

Good luck

ya know ive been looking at some pics of frame sliders installed and i do believe the smashed in hole that was "for frame sliders" isnt even in the right place. its really low, and i see sliders are at knee height or so. what on earth was this guy thinking ??

nice bike man! btw that whole by the access cover is exactly where the frame sliders should go. they bold where the engine and frame join. if you pull off that side cover you will see.

the one by the 'C" is CBR ?? that looks about right. i was thinking the smashed in hole was lower, maybe i should take another look at my bike haha. i dont think there is one on the other side though. do you think i can clean that hole up with a drill??
