Going to pick up another motor tonight. everything minus exhaust radiator and possibly starter. guy says it runs good and tranny is good. has wire harness also. $100 bucks same year 94 with 16K on it. My motor is fine except for a broken motor mount from the block. I figure fora hundred even if it doesnt run i can always use it for parts. what do you think?

 

I say go for it. Use what you need and sell the rest. I couldn't find anybody that was willing to give me $400 for my old Silverwing so I'm parting it out. Looks like I could make over $1K parting it.

Well picked it up, seems to be in good shape. i mainly just looked to see if there were any cracks in the block, didnt really even bother to check the oil lol. But really the oil was a little dirty but no biggy. Real cool seller though. He even popped off the valve cover and is like see what you can see i want you to be happy with your purchase. The cams looked mint! anyways real stand up seller. came with oil cooler side cover clutch cover and starter motor. Dont think i could have found a better deal for the price.

 

$100 is well worth it in spare parts alone. You now have an additional clutch basket and forks along with the harness, stator, and all the other parts that we're looking for around here. Plus, you have an extra head and other parts to play with.

 

Actually that was the one thing i thought i was getting that i didnt was the wiring harness. He meant the wires coming from the starter, stator etc but still pretty pumped. I am thinking about swapping the motor in mine just to see how it runs.
