personally, I'd look for F3 fairings too. since you need everything, you can do F3 fairings no problem, they bolt up, IF you have a F3 fairing stay and headlight.

So - if you wanted the slightly more sleek look of the F3 fairings, you might as well look for the F3 parts required.

Default thanks to you all.

i just found some parts for the front. got the front fairing stay, headlight, mirrors, and gauge cluster and dash for 200 shipped. i'm not complaining about the price cause now i have a good start on parts. i'm going to probably get some ebay china fairings, possibly AuctMarts fairings also. i know they wont last or fit right ,but i'm looking forward to the challenges they bring. i like to spend time working on things. any tips for the future let me know

Great!!!! and hope to see your build progress into a beauty....post in the wanted section if you need anything.....try to source cheap first before buying. You'll be surprise how many spare part we accumulate in our garage just wanting to pay it forward....

That's a pretty good deal for 200. Normally a headlight runs 75 to 100 by itself, and a straight fairing stay can easily go for 120. Add the cluster & mirrors and you did pretty well.

Yeah, the idle adjustment cable is on the left - I circled it in this pic of my bike:

Turning it clockwise raises your idle RPM.

since you dont have anything. Go for the F4 front! it will cost you as much as F2, but looks much better!
I have been searching on ebay, and with about 200 dollars youd get headlamp, front fairing, and stay is like 30bucks more.
TOTALLY worthy considering it will all bolt right into your f2 frame.

I went from this:

to this, it took me like 4 months, worthy! although if I had known the f4 front bolted right in, it would look much better.

Oh! dont get the tail plastic! looks soooo ugly!!!! lol
I rewired my tail so the tail light is blinkers as well. So much better!!!
I cant remember what I did, but I can take pics of it.
I got helmet lock for two helmets under the seat, and im working on an under tail. ill show you this weekend to give you more ideas of what you can do.

NOTE: You can get the two piece seats, but you have to cut frame, get creative, and apparently cbr new seats are not too confortable.
