I know man, my last post before the previous one was in october, wow time flys pretty quick I guess. I just wanted to update that I still have my bike, I still ride, I still do some tweaks here and there. Before you think I probably sold it or something and that being the reason I haven't posted, well no I dont plan on selling it at all for now. How have you been Jeff? How's the f2 coming along, I got alot of reading to update myself on some posts here haha.

I didn't read the whole walk through. Did you swap engines? Or was it fairings and cosmetic conversion?

I've been good - staying busy with the street rebuild for a while, and now it's time to do some little things to the race bike, in preparation for the 2014 race season... I'm tired of snow and ice everywhere , and looking forward to this next week, as it's 25 today, and supposed to be 40 tomorrow, 52 Thursday, 56 Friday, 60 Saturday, and 62 on Sunday and Monday.

Sounds like you might be able to ride these next couple of days man. I've been dealing with the same weather here, hot one day, cold the next, hot the other and so on. but we just se the 40's at the lowest man, I can imagine 25. Can't wait for March to kick in, definitely gonna be riding everyday.

Nah, I've just been lurking ha. My conversion took a backseat for a couple more weeks. I am currently getting it ready to replace the trans. Second gear went. I'll be painting the frame and shortening wires and what not while its out. Also had to order a new dog bone, mainly for the bolts lol. Anyway, as far as the fairings, I'm working on a surprise, dont wanna say too much, trying to swing it we will have to see how it goes though. should be a busy couple months with the riding and building going on.

the front fender mudguard big black bit above the front wheel is off an R6 03 i think and makes the bike look a lot more modern even with F3 fairings on

That does look really nice, do the holes line right up, or did you have to glass them in, and drill new ones for mounting?

the 2 front ones line up and the back are cable tied but you cant see the cable tie unless really close up and if you use a flanged bolt on the front its tight enough to keep it still

what i will say is yamaha did a really good job on their front fenders, its much more flexible and thicker plastic, i went that route after not being able to find a cheap f3 one after crashing

will take some pictures of how its mounted in a few hours when i get off work
