Im waiting for winter time to come around so I can put it inside the apt and possibly start some paint work on the fairings. I am debating if I should stretch it maybe about 6 inches because I can't keep the front end on the ground. Before any insults (haha no one likes stretched bikes I know) I do use my bike at the straights pretty often. I do have a local drag strip but I havent taken it because of my take offs, I cant get them just right, thats why I believe the stretch would help keeping the nose down and be able to get a better launch.

Well I still have a couple of months to ride before any of the above happens.

how is it that your forks stick out that much from the top of that triple tree or whatever that part is called? I usually see gsxrs the newer models with forks like that at the top.. Is that from you lowering the bike?

Yeah thats from where he lowered his bike.

As far as stretching goes, honestly, its your bike man. You know where and how you ride. There arent alot of twisties around me either, so stretching wouldnt be that big of a deal for where I ride. It does make your ride more stable and will keep the front from coming up, that being said, it will also change cornering and entry into and out of driveways, possibly even speed bumps. All that said, 6 inches isnt alot. If you decide to go that route, I would look into a subrframe extension, you know, like for the newer bikes before going a permanent mount. That way, if you dont like it, you can change it.

so if I were to take my f2 to my mechanic and tell him I wanted it lowered say maybe 2,3 inches the forks would come up like that? It doesn't affect how high or low your clip ons sit correct? And here in Miami I do my twisties and what not or whatever you guys call em on the streets or any curvy road lol. I'm not a big fan of extensions I like leaning into turns

Yeah it would look like that. It kinda affects the clip on height but not the position you sit if that makes sense. You are basically just allowing the forks to slide up higher in the triple which in turn brings the neck closer to the wheel lowering it.

gtcole is correct, the seating position will ofcourse be more leaned towards the front, and the clip ons stay the same. mine is about 3 inches if I remember correctly. If you do twisties often I would go no more than 2, with a dropped bike the nose will lean more in a corner because of the angle, but I did like it better because my bike feels stiff, but then again I rarely go sideways on a turn, plus I cant lean too much because my pegs will hit the ground. You can also drop the front 2 ways, either slide the fork tubes (free), or buy the strap on ebay ($25), both affect your fork seals on the long run because of the less travel, though the strap puts more pressure.

I was thinking of even doing a swingarm swap to fit a bigger wheel but seems like alot of work though. I have already found only one seller for the cbr f2 and f3 extensions, but their $285 shipped, which is alot compared to $150 or so for newer bikes, but I really want to stretch it, though I would also do a 520 chain conversion as well so in total about $400 more less for a stretch, though I am really tempted to go for it, even though winter is around the corner.

400 hmm... thats around swingarm swap ball park. I know the rr swingarm can be had relatively cheap, last i looked bout 100 with rim if you look hard enough. That will give you a wider rear tire, not too sure about what else besides the look. From what I've read, doesnt seem like an impossible amount of work either. Of course I dont think a wider rear tire alone will keep you from popping the front.

Not necessarily going wider tire because of the nose popping up, more of a 190 or 200 tire rather than a 170, also because of the cost of the extensions for the f2 are at the same price of a rr swing arm with extensions and wheel. Though I kind of like this simple swingarm design the f2 has, not the wide on one side and open on the other like the rr.

Nightshot of my bike, red tail and tank, will snap a better picture soon.
