Default headlight stopped working

Got on my bike and noticed that my headlight was not working, neither is the highbeam. Checked the fuse and it is good. So i strip it down and follow the wires to see if any are pinched or screwed up some how. . . can't find anything wrong with the wires. But now i know that where the Bulb plugs into, it isn't getting power. . I one of those hand held voltage regulator, and it isn't getting power to it. Anyone have any ideas on what could have went wrong?

Use a multimeter set on voltage to read at the headlight plug. Turn on the ignition and see if you get a reading. If you need a new headlight, I have one for sale. Check it out in the For Sale section!

I had the same problem. I lost all the power from the controls. I tore mine apart and tested it and mine was the left controls. I replaced it and it works now. Might look there.

Got it fixed!! the wire had come loose on the starter, would have cost about $250 for the part, but we just by-passed it, only thing is, the light don't shut off when you start it, but it works fine other that that!! yay im glad, now i can ride with out having to worry about it getting dark out and having some idiot not see me.
