Headlight stopped working
Turned the key on yesterday and was suprised to see the head light not come on. Im assuming it was one of two things that happened first I was in the process of trying to hook up the turn signals I had just hooked one up apparently incorrectly because it did nothing. And second a large tree over my shed dropped a limb which punctured the roof right above the front end of the bike, And it has rained since then dripping right onto the nose.(until I discovered the hole) First I checked the bulb and it has no visual signs of being faulty, I then checked the fuses The headlight fuse was still good but the fan fuse was bad) Going to replace it tonight when I get home. Any suggestions on where to look next. When I started the bike the lights that did come on dash and tail kind of seemed to pulse with the rpms, They might have always done that but i never noticed. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

the bike is made to be rained on.
id bet money on your wiring for sure.
This happened to me because the previous owner put in higher wattage bulbs and it melted a soldering point. It's in the cover where the kill switch and starter switch are. You may check that.
It works! thanks for the quick help, first I tried replacing the fan fuse and still no headlight (but at least my fan works now, Had no idea it was out) Then I took Micheal S's advice and pulled apart the starter slash kill switch and sure enough there was a wire that had pulled away from the plate it was soldered to. After soldering it back in place the headlight worked! Anyone experiencing head light issues like this should check this switch, I love a fix that costs nothing.
