Default Fuel Problem?

First off sorry for the newb question, im still new to riding and bikes. I just bought a 94 F2 and it was running fine. Now when I ride it, it kinda sputters around 5K rpms. It runs perfect up until then and as soon as i pass about 6K its fine. Its more noticeable in 3rd 4th 5th and 6th. It feels like its not getting adequate fuel but i really done know. Ive tried putting carb cleaner in the gas and it seems to be better for a little while but then acts up again. I dont know if this matters but when its really hot and humid it does this way more. Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

If you are mechanically inclined, I would crack open the carbs, clean them while you are at it, and check your jet needles. if they are aftermarket (multi slotted) then I suggest changing the clip position 1 notch to lean it out.

Thanks for your advice. I forgot to mention there's a slip on d and d pipe. do the jets need to be changed?

They might need it... is this when you noticed the problem, if so then yes.
