Alright guys, I'm to the site, and to street bikes. Grew up on Dirt Bikes and ATVs though, so I have some experience. I understand riding on the road is alot different though. Anyway, I'm in the process of buying my first bike, and my cousin has one I'm looking at.

It's a 91 or 92 CBR600 F2. Haven't seen it in person yet, going to look this week. He's willing to sell it to me for $500, has clean title in hand. Here's what I know so far though:

-I trust my cousin not to sell me junk or cover up a known problem
-The Bike Starts and runs
-Has new Battery and Tires.
-Has been sitting for a few months
-Has never been laid down to my cousins knowledge.
-Has minor scuffs and scratches on plastic, nothing terrible.
-Has a wiring problem. He says it needs a new wiring harness. Only problems presenting are that the headlight and taillight don't work. Everything else functions. Apparent someone tried to wire in an aftermarket taillight and screwed it up, before my cousin bought it.

So when I go to look at it, is there anything specific I should be checking for? Any problems these bikes are known for? Anything I should know or be concerned about?
