my D&D can separated from the pipe. im looking for someone to weld it back together. but for now want to ride without the slip on. anyone ever took it off and ride without the slip on? the bike has been jetted for the aftermarket pipe and K&N filter. let me know if anyone done this.

 

it should run. it will be loud as hell but thats up to you.. and your tune may be off.. I know my bike ran a bit rough open pipe..

 

When I first bought my bike, the V&H can wasnt mounted right...About a week after I got it I was riding home from work and the pipe fell off where it connects to the mid pipe...Had to turn around and go get it and ride the rest of the 15 miles on home with my exhuast pipe sitting in my lap...It ran fine, just extremely loud and kinda felt a little bit of power loss but other than that, I think youll be fine....Itll be so freakin loud tho...
