Default exhaust problem, need help please

so my mid pipe is not attached to my bike at all, the only thing holding it on is where it attaches to the header by the rear set and the can has the metal strap around it, furthermore, NONE of the holes line up with anything on the bike that i can see.

it was like this when i got the bike but i was to lazy to fix it and it seemed solid, (i didnt look under the tail much and i only noticed one missing bolt) but now it has gotten loose as hell and when i looked at it, i was like holy crap, it not even attached.

I have an 03 cbr 600rr jardine rt-one slip on. can you guys post picks of where you pipe bolts to the bike, either on a stock pipe or a jardine, either will help.

I am also missing the heat sheild by the rear set and by the tail, so far all i can figure is that the heat sheild acted as a braket, or it is the wrong mid pipe.

The Jardine RT-1 for a 03 600RR is bolted to the underside of the tail, near the taillight, using a long bolt through the metal strap you mentioned. The strap goes around the exhaust, and the bolt goes through one side of the strap, through the threaded sleeve on the underside of the tail, and then through the other strap with a nut on the end.

the last photo is by the passanger pegs, there are no bolts going to those mounting points welded on the pipe and there are no holes in the sub frame for the bolts to go.

The second pic, that looks like where you would mount the heat shield that isremoved from your bike.

The third pic there should be a bolt... here I edited your pic

I retract my statement, I thought your first mount picture you posted might be the heatshield mount for the 05/06 but its not. Make sure that your slipon is ALL the way down onto the midpipe and header. Sometimes they do feel like they are all the way on but there arent. ITs just the resistance from the angle trying to put it on. got a picture on where your pipe and headers meet.

Here is a schematic.

Heres an Akro

M4 (Doesnt look like the bracket is supposed to be showing, thats why I think it may not be all the way on

The top picture looks like an exhaust shield mounting though.

Thank you. I was not all the way down on the header. (it was barley on there when i loosend it up)

i got the hole and the threads on the pipe to line up by the passenger peg, but i didnt have a long enough screw at the time, i also made a new heat shield/bracket for it.

going to get a long screw tomarrow but for now it seems really solid.
