Coolant leaking and wont stop!!!!
My bike has recently started to leak coolant. To save time i have narrowed it down to the thermostat housing cover and the hose for that part.
At first coolant started to leak from thermostat cover so i added a new o-ring along with waterpump/thermostat gasket sealent. It was still leaking but this time from the hose so i added a gasket kinda stuff to the inside of the radiator hose that goes over the thermostat cover and its still leaking from that area. Im pretty sure i just need new a new radiator hose and thermostat cover.
Any ideas where i can get a stainless steel radiator hose? The hose that goes from the thermostat cover into the radiator. Im missing the service door for the right side so i want it to be better looking then black rubber. Thanks for the help.
PS i have tried googling it but i cant find anything. Bikebandit wants 34 bucks for a new black hose so i may as well see if there are any stainless steel ones.

I just looked at servicehonda and alot of there stuff is more expensive. Maybe parts other than cooling will be cheaper. Radiator hoses are the same though. I think i may just get a regular hose and get a sleeve to put over it.

Fixed it. I ended up cleaning it really well with sand paper and then putting some gasket sealent around the o-ring. I put it on and let it dry and watched really carefully if it would start leaking. Sure enough a small crack in the housing was present and thats where it was coming from. Instead of buying a new one i put some Bars radiator stop leak(about 2oz of it) in my bike and no more leak!!! EFFIN SWEET.
The lesson i learned is if you take time to properly troubleshoot the issue you will save ALOT of time and money.
