and DO NOT seperate the air box from the carbs. i have a brand new oem petcock in box if you need one let me know. pm me

 

why arent we separating the airbox?

 

Ok so I got them all cleaned up and put back together today. I only did the floats and jets etc...I stayed away from the tops because of the vacuum seal..and Ive heard that you can cause more problems from trying to clean this...on top of that I dont think thats where the problems arise most of the time. But anyway it was allot easier than expected and has built my confidence around carbs now.....still not sure why your not supposted to take off the airbox []
