im home from school on spring break this week and have been anxious to ride. i got a new rear tire mounted today and cleaned off the winter dust along with a chain lube and some standard maintenance checks. i met up with a friend to ride and we found some other random people to join us. rode for a couple hours as it was the first really warm day here in virginia. sooooo great to be riding again and i hope everyone will be safe on the roads as summertime approaches! my only problem is that i left my riding gloves in my shed and some mice ripped them to shreds!! doh! enjoy the first ride of the year if you havent already!

 

I will be learning here in a month. I am excited. It just sucks that Alaska has such a short time period.

 

Ha. Yesterday was my first ride for the year. I couldn't ride her prior to yesterday because she was disassembled. But she's good, up and running. It does feel good to be back on her. Hopefully everyone has a safe ride. Watch them rodes, and watch them people. Be safe.

This thread reminds me of how awesome it is to live in FL where I've been riding all year but it's still nice when those warm days come in. Yesterday was one of them and it was one of the first enjoyable days I've had all year, the rest were cold or rainy. Hope everyone stays safe this year.

 

ouch, the season in alaska must be super short! hopefully once i graduate college i'll be migrating south for an extended season
