AHHHHHH!!!!

Im soo sick of this bike, I have had it insured for the last 5 months and I have drove it max of 300 miles! I am sick of tinkering with it, I shouldn't of just went out and bought a 2500 bike and repainted it when I should of just got a fuel injected one!

I started the bike today, figured I would let run. 10 min later it stalled, I shut the gas off quickly and checked the bowls for gas, they all poured a bunch out. So I tried starting it again and nothing, not with the choke, gas on res or on. I figured it was on account of draining half of the gas out. So I let it sit with the gas on for awhile, went back to start it.

NOTHING!

I am ready to do a 900 swap. All I really want is a fun bike for the track and something to take 3 miles to work! I cant even do that! This is so unreliable. I just want to sell it, but I can cause it doesn't run for ****. A non running F2 doesn't retail for crap!

Sorry, end of rant!

Anything??

Im leaning towards the computer. It must get to a certain temp and it shorts out.

As for the idle. I was sitting listening to it while it was running, and the idle will sit at 1,600 rpms +/- 100 but if you dont look at it and just listen it does kinda surge a little.

I think my last thing I can do is take it to school and sync the carbs.

Engine needs 3 things to run...

Spark - check plugs when your bike is not running, do they spark, are they fouled?
Fuel - well, the bowls have fuel so maybe jets are gummed
Compression - I have mentioned this a couple times to you, DO a compression check... lol (i doubt this is your problem but its good to get it out of the way)

If you check those 3, and sync, and it still runs like this, I still say its a bad air/fuel ratio. IF the jets are stock, filter needs to be stock or vice versa.

Do you have a pinch vacuum line or anything on it. When I put my gas tank back on i accidentally pinched the two lines with this it would run for a bit and the choke out. With this running super lean.

He said he checked float bowls right after stall and they had fuel, so it wouldn't be the breather hose from the tank. The bowls would be empty if that were the case.

I had fuel in my floats. The vacuum lines were kinked/plugged causing it to get gas but not enough for it to run.

Well I SOAKED the jets and blew them out with compressed air. If they are clogged its cause there is **** in the tank.

I need to check spark when it stalls.

ALL of the plugs look great!

Dont have a compression tester, i will check compression when I go get the carbs synced. I am going to buy a stock filter before hand also.

There are no kinks in lines.

Where can I get a stock filter for cheap? Dealer prolly wants a lot.

Thanks!

I guess that is true... float level needs to be at a nice balance.
