Not quite.

There are numerous differences between the two motors.All are small,but all those little things add up to a large one.

You can bolt that F3 motor right in and not have to change a single thing.I've done it,and won!

do you know what kind of small things exactly? im not getting the f3 carbs so thats something you can leave out

i have a 97 motor on my 94 f2 and when the bike is running im loosing alot of gas from the carbs and they were rebuilt last year and worked great, since i put the new motor in cant figure out why its doing that

@ flyer he never said he couldnt use the f3 carbs he just said he wasnt.. ie. his choice or what not.. for whatever reason he didnt use em.. never said you could.. the bike are almost identical so it really wouldnt matter much
