Default Best way to clean fouled plugs

Hi, what's the best way to clean fouled spark plugs?

replace them or use a spark plug cleaner like this one Walmart.com: Grip 20270 Pneumatic Spark Plug Cleaner: Tools (but you need an air compressor to use it)

+1 on replacing them... after you figure out and fix what caused them to foul

They are brand new........NGK Iridium's. I think my carbs are in pretty sad shape, the engine keeps fouling the plugs. It keeps backfiring. I pulled one and it was BLACK! It won't idle, won't run without being chocked, won't run without dying and stalls everytime I try to ride it.

you can try using some carb cleaner spray to clean it up. may be good enough.

Those work great, or if you know someone who has a regular sandblaster/media blaster those work as well, plus it only takes about 10 seconds and they look brand new when you are done. Just make sure you blast it with some compressed air after you are done so no sand or media stays in any nooks and crannies or in the threads.
