When i start up my bike I hear a odd noise.. im not too sure if this is a bad noise or not.. When i Clutch In it goes away.... is this bad?? I cant really explane the noise.. its not too loud its just there... anyone have any idea's?? Theres only 34.000 Km's on the bike.. Anyone?? Help please!

 

i dont think itz any thing to worry about. neutral def sounds different from being in gear. ive noticed that some vibrations occur best at certain rpm's. for instance when the lil rubber buffers between the tank and the frame werent there, the bike would rattle at about 5000 rpm. but at the same time my plate holder rattled at idle(1500-1800) so it could be something silly like that, or it could be deeper dealing with the flywheel and clutch plate. but if it was a problem you'd most like experience some trouble shifting. difficulty getting into gear?

 

im not really sure... a small "clunk" intoo first... nothing too serious that i can see.. i havent ridden it really yet tho.. its winter in canada//

 

If it jerks a little going into first, you need to adjust your air/idle control. It is located directly under your fuel selector ****. Mine idles at about 1300 rpm's. Hope this helps.
