The 3 adjusting screws can accept flathead or phillips screwdriver to adjust.

I highly doubt its one of the screws for syncing the carbs. It's hard enough to get to those bastards when you want to, and practically impossible accidentally. My advice it to turn the effing caps lock off and not turn random fricken screws on a carb. Try and learn what you are doing first or pay somebody that bothers to do a little homework before randomly wrenching.

u need the d shaped tool for all the float screws (in most cases) d.a. question but u didnt turn the the drains screws did u?

You mean the pilot screws don't you? The OEM bowl screw are phillips, aftermarket replacements are usually allen socket screws.
