I'm collecting a 1990 PC23 Hurricane tomorrow in the lovely (??!!) Benetton colours.


I am planning on removing the wide green/aqua stripe, leave the blue and create a Rothmans scheme using what I have and can get cheap.


Its not in great condition but mechanically seems good.


I can't find a definitive answer as too whether when I cut around the pink tank graphics and remove the 'CBR' logo and stripe, will there be clear coat underneath or base coat.


For info, the colour of the bike paint is pearl white.

 

If the graphics/decals are over the top of the paint it will be factory paint underneath.
