Right! engines out , me and a mate and some elbow grease literally undone it he held the engine on some wood blocks and I lifted the bike up and over , getting it in might be trouble , might have to get a jack , will now swap all the good bits over to the new engine , give it a clean and new one in

Gonna be doing the same thing with my bike. Want to get the engine out to derust and repaint the frame, and I'm thinking that getting it out is going to be a pain, but nothing compared to getting it back in. Not helped that a previous owner, in their wisdom, decided to remove the centre stand

It took the two of us about 40 minutes to get it in so not too bad for first timers.
