Ok so… more drama! So I spoke to a friend and he said that he’s mate can do it for 70€!!! I thought 40 max but I won’t pay 70€ there’s a motorbike workshop just 2 minutes away I will go in the morning and see what price he gives me , worse case I will have to strip this back down ..again and swap the drive shafts
Mate it’s removing one bolt and the engines in pieces all he’s got to do is drill it out doesn’t have to bend down ,move anything out the way nothing ! Joker
I’ll say this. For someone who has stated they don’t have a ton of experience with bike mechanics, you sure seem to have no fear jumping headlong into it. Very admirable indeed.
Haha thanks mate ! I think because I have two engines I’m a bit more daring but yes I payed someone few years back 270€ to put my fan belt on in my car I never done anything to do with mechanics but last year I got my bike licence and I just super curious to do everything my self so download a manual and to be fair there’s two by step, I read twice cut once lol but thanks I’m glad they have these forums as my misses is going to punch me in the nose if she hears anything else to do with a motorbike 😀
Very good job! That is impressive to say the least
Thanks for chronicling this project. It is enjoyable for us now and will be helpful for those in the future.
