So after watching the video and finding out how to do the camshaft I was getting the bolts loose from the sprockets and while I went to pick up the spanner I noticed that inside the new engine the bolt has been snapped off inside the drive shaft ,

so I will have to take this to get removed at the local garage , I swore to myself that I would never put a bike in to a garage but I think for this there is an exception , I think buy colbalt drill ends and trying to remove it myself will cost maybe more than just getting one of them to do in 10 minutes , gutted! Worse case I do have the second engine and the drive shaft is good on that the issue is I would have to then strip back down this whole engine I just rebuilt to split in half to then swap the shaft 🤧🤧 so that is the plan b but I’m sure the garage can get that out no issue ! What a bummer I would have the whole thing put back today and ready to get back in the bike , so another step back

the other engine now cranks all I had to do was just bolt the oil sprocket on and it would run , so basically all of this work I didn’t have to do but I’ve learnt so much by doing it and why not the bike cost me nothing and an engine for 130, I have had a lot of fun doing it just can’t wait to get it running

Sorry I didn't think about it sooner. I don't know why I didn't. I just happened to be reading your thread late last night and then I remembered the video series and it connected that it might help you. I'm a dullard like that sometimes.

Try spraying PB-Blaster and drilling it with reverse drill bit. Should spin it right out.

You can also drill tiny 2mm holes 5mm apart. Then use small needle nose pliers to spin it out.

Can get away with HSS bits for one-time use. Cobalt bits would be little bit faster and last longer. Use cutting oil either way.

Yh nice bit of knowledge there I will defo remember it , as I say I don’t have tools or oils, pastes etc I done everything with a ratchet set and a can of multi spray, I think for this I will go garage in the morning and see what they can do it for hopefully no more than 40€ but then it’s done and I can crack on and get this back in the bike but Yh the two holes with the players I’ll defo remember that one 👍

If it is snapped off then likely is properly stuck. I would definitely take it to a garage if they have the proper tools.
Some things just aren't worth the effort when someone else could get it out in a few mins for a few quid.

That's something I learned the hard way years ago. Doing what you can yourself can save you a ton of money and earn you a ton of experience and knowledge. Some things (like wall plastering) are just not worth the effort when an expert can do it quickly, neatly and fairly cheaply. Your time has some value as well.
