Default cam chain

I have been buzing over my Haynes manual the past few evening and the manual has
very limited info on the cam chain tensioner for the F1.

The manual shows how to remove and replace the unit and thats about it.

My question is this.

Is the cam chain tensioner automatic on the F1 and needs no adjustment or maintenance is this correct.

Thanks John

i beleive that the recommended thing to do is to get a manual cam chain tensioner. and adjust it yourself.

honda oem unit is automagic.

manual units have been around for quite a few years at least since i bought my bike in 2000. and as far as i know, honda does not have any manual cc adjustment on any of their model line.

the automatic CCT is a piece of scrap metal because its prone to failure, get an APE manual CCT, or over on another CBR forum theres a writeup on how to make your own manual CCT from the stocker(what I did) either one works well.
