Battery housing/connection issues?
Hi,
I rolled my bike(88 hurricane) out of the garage and turned it on, the lights came on and then turned off a few seconds later and wouldn't come back on. I could wiggle the battery housing and cables right near the battery and get the lights to come on but when I tried to start the bike after doing this it clicked and then died, and now I cant get the bike on even with re positioning the wires. I am assuming there is a broken connection somewhere, does anyone know a quick fix for this or have any experience with this problem?

Sounds like it might just be a dead or shorted battery, or a corroded connection(s) on the battery itself.
First thing to do would be to pull the seat & battery cover and clean the terminal connections & check voltage. Should be at least 12.4-12.5. If the battery terminals are clean & the voltage is good at the battery check the cables.. they will be easy to follow once you have the seat & cover off.
If you need more help with checking the electrical system feel free to ask.
