hi guys would anyone know if a oil filter that was bought for a cbr900rrv model will fit the blackbird 2007 model. as i have one lying around i had for my last bike . cant compare them at present as i am still waiting on my new bird i paid deposit on . as the guy is getting the personal plate changed over with all paperwork can take some time i was told

 

Honda streetbikes use standard automotive oil filter thread, and most if not all of them take the same filter. My '83 Sabre, '86 VFR, '89 Hurricane and '98 XX all get the same filter, but I use a better filter than OEM. If you have stock headers you can probably use a longer 3.5" filter instead of the stubby OEM -- works on carbed 'birds but the FI headers are a bit different.
