Default HELP fuel problem? I think bb 2007 model

hi guys i have a 2007 bb with only just 3000 miles was out today on her and she was fine for about 4 miles then the flashing fuel light came on for reserve. i reset the trip meter and after 2 miles she started to run rough and wouldnt tick over at all i was thinking out of petrol but i opened tank and there was petrol in it. i managed to ride to the nearest petrol station but it wasnt happy doing this <kanaroo petrol like>. anyway i put £10 unleaded in her and fired her up and the problem was still there. wouldnt tick over and very very rough all the way home as if she was running on 2 or 3 cylinders but i made it home. just a thought i did fit race stubby cans about 4 weeks back and i was thinking might have something to do with the race cans . so i fitted the standard cans back on her today and problem still there. can some one please help me and tell me what to check now as i am lost with this at present. also if if need to remove the tank can some one tell me step by step instructions as with it being fuel injected not looking forward to this part. thanks guys for all help that i get

Check your spark plugs, sounds like one or more is fouled out. Possibly from
new cans richening fuel mixture.
