i have an 04 1000 and my stater went bad. got the part in today and was woundering if anybody else has replaced theirs? is there anything special that i need to know? the dealer said that its on the left side and an easy fix. any info is appreciated.

ok. very easy fix on this one. i changed the stator last night and it took about an hour. the only reason it took that long is that i had a little trouble switching the wires out of the plug. other than that it was a simple fix.
