I was looking at a dry nitrous kit for my K6 1000RR from 1tail.com. They say you can get 20-40 horsepower from this kit and it comes with everything you need for $369.88 shiped to my door. I called and spoke to steve and he assured me this was 100% safe and would not hurt the bike at all. I am thinking about getting a kit and i was wanting some input from you guys and what you think. Is it easy to install? is it reliable? and where would you mount the bottle? My bike is all stock as of now but all I really want to do to it performance wise is put a slip-on Jardine pipe, BMC filters, Powercommander and the nitrous. Also does this bike have rev limiters on it as well as a top speed limiter like the Suzukis do?

Hey man not tryin to be a smart *** but why would you want to put Nitrious on something with a slip on. If you want hp gains an performance why not just spend the extra money on a full system and not risk burnin up your engine?

 

Well i never really thought about a full system that also is a option your right for an extra $250 i can go with the full system so I will get a full system. Anyway i have all winter to do this and i live in Michigan so i wont be able to ride until april so i have a while. thanks for your input though that is why i asked the question so i could get better ideas thanks.

 

my 04 has a rev limmiter on it so im sure the 06 will too but not sure about the top end speed limmiter. i have seen 183mph, no speedo healer, and it didnt cut out if that gives you an idea.
