Default Metzler m1

Just picked up two rears and a front... anybody else running the m1 on the 08/09 cbr1000rr?
Do you like them?

I don't have them but they were my second choice. I read an artical, it was some tire test review with the top 4 brands and they were rated number 1 for all around performance. I almost bought them, but went with the new bridgestone 003's instead.

m1's are outdated
the m3's are the successor

I had m1's on my 600rr, and they were MUCH better than stock. next, I had pilot powers (not 2ct) on my 954, and had no chicken strips (street riding). m3's replaced my PP (not 2ct). I think that PP's were freaking awesome, and heated up quite nicely for street riding.

I've got bt002RS's on my 1krr now. takes a bit to warm up.

tires are a huge debatable topic that's mostly user preferences/opinions. I say keep them if you got them for a good deal. I wouldn't use them for track use though.
