Default Added undertail kit to 08' 1000...

Hotbodies undertail kit...

That was the most pain in the a$$ MOD I have ever done to a bike. The instructions sucked and they sent me two of the same brackets for the brake light. I had to grind and form several areas to the undertail portion to make it fit. I also used my dremel to cut the brake light mounts off the factory undertail and formed it to fit.

Now that it is done, it looks great though. If you buy one of these kits, be prepared to be inventive!

Looks excellent.

I think if I forked out that kind of dough, I'd be pissed to have to touch my dremel tool. I think I'll wait till they get their **** together.

Yeah, that was my thing. After shipping and handling, the kit was about 200. It should be plug and play for that. Oh well, its done now. My main purpose of the thread was to let people know what they were getting themselves into....and to show off my bike!
