Default lots of questions

hey guys, I hate to say it but on sunday i will have to take a break from the forum for awhile. At least until september. I am leaving for boot camp monday morning to become a marine. Im gonna miss checking the banter everyday haha. Anyways on to the few questions i have.....First one what do you think is the best way to store the bike until september, im leaving it with my old man in his heated shop but will i need to do anything more than that?
Second, ive never been to california but heard that the riding can be a bit dangerous compared to my sleepy little town of gillette?
I also hear there are some race tracks out there and ive been dieing to get on one.
Finally do you think i should turn my baby to a track machine, or are the streets not as bad as ive heard.
Thanks guys........

Default RE: lots of questions

as a service member myself......

yes the driving is a bit more dangerous out here in CA. you will be fine, just use your head, and try not to impress all the tail out here, there is too damn much.

just throw it in the garage and have some one start it and let it run for about 15min ever few days...it will be fine.

dont worry about the track yet my frined...your gonna be really busy your first few years...trust me, you will be happy to just ride down the street a few times on the weekends when you dont have DUTY, and you better beleive i always ****ed the new guys when i wrote the watchbill.

dont worry about turning it into a track bike yet......

and lastly,

Why the hell you join up??!!
