RE: Knee dragg'n 101
First I hope you're not trying this on the streets, granted every now and then you'll find a nice smooth road where it's possible but you still have to worry about all the other factors that comes with rinding on the streets. Not trying to be funny, but if you have to ask how to drag a knee I would not advise you to even trying this on the road way. How ever with enough practice at the track it will soon be a piece of cake. Its all about confidence in your bike and experience. Be Safe.

Here is a link that you might find usefull.
I don't encourage you doing it on the streets but if you wanna give it a try.
I suggest going into a big parking lot and trying it out.

You don't put your knee out to keep the bike up. That doesn't even make any sense, knee dragging is more for judging your distance in relation to the ground to know when you're at a full lean. I've done quite a few track meets and I've never heard that one. speed is what keeps the bike up; try dagging your knee at 10 mph and see if your knee keeps it up.

keep in mind that riders usually put their knee down to be able to keep the bike UP.
its a matter of controlling the bike on a turn.

My bad what I meant to say is what you mean I just said it in a wrong way.
but however a few people have said to me that when riding at those speeds you can with a knee pull the bike up for control.
In other words what I meant to say is that riders put the aknee down so that the bike doesn't lean more than
is supposed to. therefore keeping the bike up.
sorry for the miscommunication

I highly recommend the California Superbike Course with Keith Code. I took levels 1 and 2 at Barber Motor Sports located in Birmingham AL. I drove 11 hours from Palm Beach County, FL. I had the best time worth every penny. A lot safer to learn on a track then these crazy streets. They’ll get you there. I will be signing up for levels 3 & 4 the beginning of next year. It’s a little expensive but you get what you pay for….
