Much better locations for mounting. Out of the weather and 100% out of site.

Each Ballast & bulbs weight exactly 1.00lbs FYI.

Since the topic is HIDs I thought I would post up my setup.

The bike is a 954 with BMW e46 Bi-Xenons (high and low beams). The HIDs are ran by 2 ballasts that are located under the rear seat. The ignitors are separate from the ballasts and are located below each air intake (front sides of the tank).

The high beams are activated via the factory hi/low beam switch. In high beam mode the center halogen bulb lights up as well. I'm very happy with the setup.
