Default To hard on bike?

I was wondering if i'm being to hard on my bike? When i ride i normally shift around 4 or 5,000 rpm. But there are those exceptions { like a couple times a day} when i like to get on it a bit and shift around 8 or 9,ooo. Is this to hard? The 1k doen't red line till 12.25 so i would think it's fine, just don't want to be one of these guys with my engine blown up at 12,000 miles. I've rode motocross all my life, and pushed my dirt bike to extremes, but if it blew up it was as easy as spending 90 bucks and changing the piston and ring. Lot more to work with on this bike.

8-9000 is not too hard on this bike. Its just warming up.

If you constantly redline it I would worry more.

These bikes are made to be riden hard. You can run the thing to redline, just not past it to often.
