Default How hard does your bike pull??

Been on a mission over the past few months to get my bike fueling correctly..

I have 1990 engine with full s/s race exhaust and individual fuel filters with a stage 2 jet kit..

I have finally cracked the midrange however the top end above 10k feels like it could be better..

Having never ridden a standard fl I have nothing to compare it to..

The engine pulls from 2k and pulls very hard between 6 and 8k however around 9-11 it is not so strong.. Im thinking that I may need bigger or smaller mains jets..

Do your engine pull hard all the way from 7?

Mine's all stock, but 6-8k is definitely the sweet spot. It's a 600, they're peaky like a 125 two stroke, keep it in the power and it'll pay off.

Meh... if it's anything similar to the F2, right around 7k or so you're pulling onto the main jets. It should pull hard from there, and continue along from that point. For the kind of tuning you're doing, just find a local dyno shop with a lot of knowledge tuning race bikes. If they're worth their salt they'll have been doing their work since well before fuel injected bikes, and they'll probably have great knowledge to share with you on work with your bike.
