Default Battery tenders?

I havea battery tender, worked great last winter for storage, i removed the battery and brought it inside and hooked it up all winter, No problems, My question is could you use a single tender in series to 2 separate batteries.

I am thinking as long as both batteries are charged and newerthe battery tender can just send it's "trickle" then it wouldn't cause much ofa problem? I only see a problem if one of the batteries is older and doesn't hold the charge and would cause the tender to go into charge mode more often than it should? opinions?

You could but the batteries must be connected in parallel,be the samevoltage (#ofcells), same type (cell chemistry)and be more or less fully charged. Capacities don't need to be the same. I've got a 26AH and a 4AH that have been sharing the same charger for 3 years. They just sit there happy as clams at 13.2 volts day after day.

You can buy a Battery Tender thathastwo negative and two positive cables for charging two batteries at the same time. Very inexpensive and worth checking out.

I've got 2 bikes and one Battery Tender. I just leave it on one for a while then switch to the other one.
