Hahaha. I was having that problem which is why I started this thread. I haven't gotten back to it yet. Probably tomorrow.

I dunno, I mean on all my bikes after the 11 or so bolts have been removed all I have had to do is give it a good tap. You might need to get a hammer to tap with.... I thought that might have been pretty obvious, but non the less make sure you have something softer than the aluminum against the cover... mine popped on my 08 on about the second or third tap

**it might also depend on if this is the first time it was put on, If it is from the factory then it will more than likely be easier to remove, if it has been off before the previous person to put it back on may have put more sealant on it. **

It is from the factory. I will try to give her a try tomorrow. You'll either get a "it worked" or "S.O.B. I f'd it up" post after I try.
