Default ALternator cover 89 cbr
Hey there can anyone tell me how to get the cover off the alternator? have got the 3 long screws off but cant get the cover off. dont want to force it. should it come off?

There's an oil seal around the edge - tap it gently with a rubber/plastic mallet around the edges and pull - should come off. Runs in oil so will be messy.

mine was a pain to pull off, there is a bearing in the cover, mine was seized but with a hammer and screwdriver i was able to gently hit it off.
