i am not sure if the canadian version is the same as the european version but if it is then yes there is a difference. the timing on the us version has been changed to meet certain (useless) standards. it seems as theough the bazazz z-bomb corrects this issue rather easily.
i have one installed on my ride and it "feels" like it has more power. or maybe i am just imagining it. either way, there is a product or two to correct the issue.
