My mate bought this today. $3400 AUD which I thort was ok. 92 model with 53000km on the clock. He is beside himself with excitement and I cant blame him. he has to wiat on it to be delivered from Melbourne though. He should have it by the end of the week. Then its registration time and he be good to go. He is stepping up from a 93 ZZR 600 that I sold him a while back. I told him he will notice the difference....lol. Cheers.

I ride a Hurricane because in the fall of 2009 Honda had new ones from the dealer discounted down to less than $7k from an MSRP of $11,599. Wife wanted me to get a Gold Wing. We worked out a deal to let me ride around on this one first for about 3 years.

Wow.. this question made me think. Why do I ride the hurricane.? I started thinking back as to when i actually got my bike licence..and it took me back down memory lane.. I was 16 and 9 month, was the legal age at the time to go for Learners. And after begging mum for money and working many hours at the local fruit shop carrying bags of potatoes i was able to buy my first ever bike..the honda cb 450. that 450 was my ticket to freedom, loved it, weekends cruise and camping out, rocking up to parties and being a taxi for stranded chicks..lol...after a while i strayed away.. Suzuki gsx 450, Suzuki gsx 750, Kawasaki z1000,Yamaha fj900..then stopped riding completely.. 3 kids and 2 divorces later..and many decades of wierd and wonderful adventure i do a full circle and fall in love with the honda once again..and what better to suppercede my first ol cb 450 but the CBR1000F. So i guess i love riding it because it symbolises a major milestone in my life and if one day i ride into the sunset i would only want it to be with the hurricane.
