To get something capable of nigh 170mph, comfy touring, good looking, good handling, good brakes, good mpg, not going to depreciate, great build quality, cheap insurance..................
I rest my case, I have forgiven her
All that because you made her eat her own front bumper, and got a whack in the goolies for your trouble.
Don't pick on fanbelts, they'se tough buggers !

Sorry if I made anyone choke on their beer
I am going back a way when I had to sort out the CC,coils, broken loom wire, stuck starter motor,VR, alarm fault, sticking throttle, internally rusting tank.......
All within a couple of months of buying the old girl.
A smack in the knackers is my own fault for running the fan belt over, lesson learnt.
But I have got the bug 100% now, looks like I'm a "lifer"

I have no trouble forgiving you, sawnee.
But the Honda gods may not. Apparently, they're throwing fan belts at you now.
You must be strong now, Sawnee.... like Job.

Thanks sir Trout, don't worry I will take my punishment like a man.
I will cower in the corner and keep repeating "yes dear, sorry dear,it wont happen......." (or am I having flashbacks to that Dom dungeon again?)

lol... must be the flashbacks.

If I keep working on my car all the time while my wife's home, I'll be in the same situation.

I have ridden the Concours. In the colder weather the air comes off the wind screen and goes around you and up your back. The 1kF is much more friendly in that temperature condition. Actual the air is dead behind you on the 1kF. I ride in cold conditions often.

Why is the 1kF my steady stead? I have said it before and I will say it again, it can pull any wagon or plow out there and still be ridden bare back.

There is no perfect bike that does everything. The 1kF is as close as they come.
