I installed the new Iridium plugs I picked up on ebay (tried to get them from the local NAPA but after 3 weeks of waiting I pulled the trigger on these) and changed the oil and filter to Rotella T6.
Now I'm waiting for the seat and tail light to arrive I picked up on ebay as well.

Adjusted drive chain and degreased wheels (brake dust, mud and chain grease).
Took her out for a ride without checking the rear tyre for grease (scary ride)
Need new front tyre next (I'll get a matching set). Front seems to wear faster than the back. Anybody elses do that or is it just me? Front has about 2-5mm left back has at least 5-10.

I know that feeling only too well Sav. I now always make sure I've washed the tyes with hot soapy water when ever I've been degreasing around the tyres. It takes a few miles for the rubber to bed back in again.

If you got 5-10 mm of tread on your back tyre you'd probably be quite OK taking her off road. 10 mm of tread is unheard of. That's a knobbly..... he he
Let us know what tyres you go for. The subject has been done over and over but it's ALWAYS good to hear up to date experiences.
I hear Dunlop have brought out a new range which I'm going to look at for my next tyres in a couple of months time.

Mind you I haven't had a new front tyre since I rebuilt the front forks with new springs. I'll put a new front and rear on in a couple of months and see how they wear then, maybe the new springs will make a difference.
