i live in the city where harleys were born. my neighborhood alone has an uncountable amount of straight piped harleys. if they can do it, so can i (but ill sound better).
im getting excited seeing it together as much as it is. i just want to get it out on the road and tear some pavement up.

After recently aquiring my 1990 CBR 1000F a few weeks ago I have:
1) Degreased the gunk from the front of the engine that has been there way to long from a previously leaking valve cover gasket.
2) Changed the Engine Oil & Filter, Coolant, Brake & Clutch fluids.
3) Installed a MottoBatt sealed battery.
4) Ordered the missing Tool Kit.
5) Replaced the missing Chain Adjuster Plate and the Nuts.
6) Replaced the wornout Clutch lever & bushing.
6a) Replaced worn grips w/ ProGrips
7) Installed a Powerlet Outlet at the Leftside of the Fairing near the gauges.
8) Installed the permanent wire connections for my Escort 9500i Radar Detector and mounted it via Industrial Velcro on top of the gauges in the windshield cavity.
9) Removed the ugly HJC Scooter Trunk from the Honda Accessory Rack.
9a) Fitted my Soft Bags for an upcoming trip: Yosemite Loop
10) Road it to the Rock Store & Neptune's Net
11) GRINNED
