Default Spent Cash

I just put on new tires (Dunlop Roadsmart 120/170), chain and sprockets (16/41), Petcock rebuild (Runs better without the holes in the fuel diaphram) and a bike cover.

Is 16/41 stock for your year or do you know something I don't? Stock for mine is 17/42 and I've done 18/42... just wondering what it's like.

Rebuilt the brake master cylinder on the red/black '87 CBR1000F. Then just had to go for a test-ride!

Absolutely beautiful day in the Adelaide Hills so test-ride became a real ride. Brakes performed flawlessly finally.

Still to go, new mirror on LHS, new lower fairings, carb clean and balance, stick coils, new iridium plugs, service, K&N air filter.

Cheers, SB

They'd been sitting for a few weeks - gave 'em all a quick workout

All fired up first try after checking oil and coolant levels

Fitted new bags on the bike today. Gears brand delivered off ebay for less than $90. Seem nice, we'll see how they play out.

That's very good Bordo!

Personally I don't think I'd feel comfortable extending the panniers that far. Kills filtering through traffic.

So far I've just been riding w them zipped up in their compact form. I like the ability to double their size for the long trips though!
Very funny Bordo! The garden/compost area grows like a jungle thanks to the grains and whatnot coming out of the brewery... The tomatoes have never been better tho

Ordered the plastic coupler for final drive to speedo AGAIN.
Seems like every 30K miles it goes. Had to order new sprocket bolt as well because it was getting rounded due to coupler spinning.
Did a quick fix while waiting for parts. JB-Kwik in the coupler flats and covered bolt head with plastic wrap and inserted bolt head to get speedo working.
