Awesome, Bordo. You will be happy with the mod. I certainly am.
And like you said, it's a pretty easy job to fit the brackets, just a little filing (or Dremeling.)

(Yesterday) I bled the front brakes and installed a new Zero Gravity touring windscreen. Have not been able to test either due to rain...

Let me know what you think of that screen, wouldja'? I just ordered one for my '94 and it's gonna' be a month or so before it gets here. I've heard good things about 'em. Thanks.

I got a chance this morning to test it out on the way to work... I don't think it fits as tight against the cowl at the bottom as the original one and there is a bit of a rattle from the instrument panel now which can be taken care of with some padding or weather stripping. It does deflect the wind a bit better than the original and greatly reduces the wind trying to lift the helmet. I think it is well worth it and it looks cool.

Myself and a mate did a 150km short ride to my home town for lunch at the local pub. I got some good GoPro footage I'll post as well. Our 1000F's are both 89's and were made 2 months apart and 361 apart in VIN numbers. A rough estimate being that Honda were producing around 180 of them per month with equates to 5 to 7 bikes a day ( Some useless information...lol ).

On the way home my mate hit a bird that didn't quite time his run correctly...lol. I'm in the process of editing other footage and will post asap.

Have you had an issue with clearance?
