Beer



I've recently started brewing my own from purchased wort. Porter was awesome, Pils 9 stars out of 10. I've got a Cerveza that matures this weekend and a Double Oatmeal Stout and a Bock on deck. I bottle in re-sealable Grolsch bottles so they look classy too.

My next goal is to make my own wort; basically brew from scratch.

It's so nice to have a ton of really good beer on hand ... and hearing the opening crack of a matured bottle I made is rewarding.

 

My buddy brews, too, mike. He makes some very good darker stuff, and some excellent IPA.
I drink beer most of the time, too, which works out well...
I had a couple Brooklyn Chocolate stouts yesterday, and friday my friend had some Stone IPA that was excellent. (Stone is always is good)

He also gave me a big bottle of Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA. Looking forward to it tonight.. I'm a pretty big fan of IPAs in the summertime, if you couldn't tell.

I've always wanted to get into brewing, too, just never really did. Maybe one day...
