karlo. Good stuff! What's the go with "internal anti-vibration weights"? Are there bar end weights as well? Can you put some pics up please?

Shadow. No ****, the hair spray really works, I've used it for years. When you spray it on, it acts as a lubricant (steady you lot ), but 12hrs later the grips don't move. However, if you twist them really hard, and hold your face just right, you can remove them without damage and barely any residue on the 'bars to sand off.

When I was riding home the other day I put my hand on the bar end weight to see how much vibration the foam grips took out. The answer was sh!tloads. I'd never thought to do this before but the weights were really humming compared to the grips. With the vfr bars, so far, I'm not getting the numb finger problem that used to ruin my fun.

No idea they look like normal bars to me, they have the fitting in the end for bar end weights

What year VFR bars are those? That's exactly what I need. I've got the stockers up as high as they can go...and they are high enough. But, they're a little too far away. Your setup looks like they're a bit closer to you.

Also, did that work well with the stock brake and clutch lines? Thanks!

Mine are vfr750 from a '92 model but, as far as I can gather, the vfr800 ones will fit as long as they're pre vtech* (43mm forks). As long as they're for a 41mm fork leg they should be ok. None of them will go straight on and fit like the originals (lugs in the wrong place etc.), but they seem good.

*If that's b.s. somebody will correct me I'm sure.

Correct - VFR750 and VFR800Fi are 41mm

VFR800vtec are 43mm and sought after by blackbird owners !!

Thanks for that. I'm not concerned with the lugs...easy to grind off in a few seconds. The 92 ones will go on w/o changing the brake or clutch lines? Thanks again!
