May have made a mistake with oil
So I bout my f3 about 1k miles ago and figured I'd change the oil since I wasn't sure when it had been done last, I picked up a filter and some full synthetic oil on someone's advice, they were out of rotella t6, I tried, so I bought valvoline synpower 5-40 full synthetic.
Got home an changed it all out without issues, bike seems to like it, though it feels like its running warmer than usual..? Anyway, I was then informed that you can't run full synthetic in a bike with a wet clutch as it may cause slipping, mine isn't but doesn't mean it won't, anyone have experience running this oil? Shoul I change it out?

So I wasted $70, lesson learned, is it actually going to hurt anything? I'm not going to take chances, ill go get the rotella, I'm just curious if its going to break anything or if the clutch will even have problems?
Now here's another question, due to the switch from conventional to synthetic, and the cleaning properties of synthetic, I'm supposed to change it again Galway to my next scheduled change, so 1500 miles, should I just run through this stuff or would 1500 miles harm it with this particular oil
You shouldn't have hurt anything.
Just use the rotella and change it like you normally would. I do mine at 5k.... But I ride a lot. Every 6 months if you don't ride much.
Don't worry so much.
